Implementation Specialist


TailorMed, a well-funded startup, was founded with a personal mission to help patients and healthcare Providers tackle the financial challenges of care delivery. TailorMed’s platform automatically identifies alternative funding opportunities that help patients afford their care, and therefore, increase hospitals’ financial performance.


Our implementation team is responsible for providing an efficient, high touch, and replicable on-boarding experience for new customers and support existing customers looking to expand their utilization of the platform.


You will be responsible for defining end to end data analysis processes, improving analysis tools, classifying data, and defining new product functionalities and requirements.


The position requires excellent communication skills, thoroughness and orientation to detail, and ability to demand prioritization from external sources. You should be obsessed with scientific and statistical methods.


  • Analyze raw data in Excel
  • Develop expertise in the product in order to best define its capabilities as a function of the data and vice versa.
  • Create baseline classifications on existing data
  • Work with implementation and onboarding team on defining data requirements
  • Investigate industry data sources to constantly improve TailorMed data requirements spec.
  • Identify anomalies that may prove issues in sources and work with customer teams to resolve
  • Produce reports for internal stakeholders
  • Maximize existing data sources’ value and anticipate and execute on proposed improvements
  • Define transformations to generalize external data sources to product substrate.
  • Develop expertise in healthcare data and systems


  • 3+ years of professional experience extracting insights from external data sources
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies – advanced data retrieval queries
  • Experience with Programming Languages (python) – PLUS
  • Experience in healthcare data/informatics – PLUS
  • Experience with defining your own, complex tasks
  • Willingness to collaborate across the organization
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving/”get it done” attitude
