Strategic Relationship Manager

TailorMed’s platform helps healthcare organizations proactively identify patients at risk of not affording treatment and enrolls them in matching funding opportunities. This reduces the financial burden on patients and healthcare organizations while improving access to care.

The Strategic Relationship Manager (SRM) is responsible for the quality, health, growth and profitability of the company’s relationships with its clients by ensuring that our solutions are delivered in alignment with that client’s objectives and key strategies


In this role you will be front and center in ensuring value realization for TailorMed clients and prospects. Fostering client loyalty, stimulating growth, and increasing profitability, you will partner with clients and internal stakeholders to build relationships resulting in long-term partnerships.


  • The SRM is responsible for knowing the client’s objectives, key strategies, success metrics, leaders and stakeholders
  • Develop a multi-year account growth plan. The plan should relate to both commercial and technology aspects of deepening the implementation and engagement of the client with the TailorMed Network and Platform
  • Establish productive, professional and interpersonal relationships with key personnel in assigned client accounts through all levels: from CxO to “working teams”
  • Act as the liaison between key clients and internal teams
  • Represent the client’s needs in the company and facilitate their relationship with the different departments within TailorMed
  • Function as a trusted advisor for the client, lead solution development efforts and suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs while ensuring alignment between those needs and the company direction and resources
  • Conduct ongoing professional discussions with clients to present our recent development and roadmap to find proper solutions within our portfolio of product and services.
  • Provide end to end solutions to clients, managing deep dives into our clients and prospect’s operations in the context of our technology
  • Work within a team, working both remotely with clients and in person as appropriate to build relationships and knowledge.
  • Develop methodologies and toolsets to support the efforts, assessments, design, and discovery with clients.
  • Effectively demonstrate value proposition with key influencers and decision makers to include, but not limited to, partner’s C-Suite, Vice Presidents, and Directors
  • Work cross-functionally with TailorMed Deployment, Support, Training, Product, Sales, Finance and others to ensure all components of the engagement are on track to meet milestones and deliver planned value
  • Effectively demonstrate TailorMed’s technologies
  • Identify and quantify product feedback (enhancements and areas for improvement) to assist in driving product strategy
  • Travel independently or as a team for on-site Executive business reviews to strengthen relationships, review key performance metrics, and identify opportunities to further align results
  • Provide ongoing training and development (directly and/or in partnership with training)
  • Manage daily activity within Salesforce CRM system or other designated system(s)


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of strategic management in healthcare, hospital, pharmacy or consulting experience preferred
  • Natural curiosity and desire to creatively problem solve
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage complex situations
  • Broad end-to-end healthcare knowledge within the pharmacy, IDN and/or RCM preferred
  • Experience with root cause analysis, including the skill and experience to troubleshoot and investigate issues
  • Ability to execute and prioritize a large number of tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and to lead cross-functional teams
  • Possess process and change management skills
  • Subject matter expertise and dedication to remaining current with industry changes
  • Outstanding communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent virtual and in-person presentation skills
  • Understanding of HIPAA and the importance of privacy of patient data
