Financial Navigation

Financial Navigation is the heart of the platform, giving teams everything they need to financially serve patients, all in one location. The interface is designed to support the way people work while also maximizing efficiency, across multiple users, cross-functional teams and service lines, or facilities. Enrollment processes have also been fully streamlined or digitized, where possible, to reduce tedious manual form-fills, faxes, and outreach for status updates.

Electronic Benefit Verification

The platform verifies patient benefits with a clearinghouse and calculates remaining deductible, copays, coinsurance, and OOP obligations for medications. For patients with multiple plans, the platform also performs coordination of benefits to determine the primary insurance.

Out-of-pocket Projection

Out-of-pocket costs for buy and bill medications are projected based on the patient's insurance benefits, treatment plan and provider rates.

Intelligent Program Matching

Patients are intelligently matched with any available assistance for which they qualify, including copay cards, foundations, free drugs, SDOH, and government plans.

Financial Insights is a powerful analytics and reporting dashboard that tracks key performance indicators, patient population information, and team productivity. Metrics can be filtered by time period, facility, and user.

Key Performance Metrics

Key performance metrics track drug acquisition cost avoidance, revenue collected from copay assistance, and benefits to your patients. Savings are tracked by program type, drugs, manufacturers, and foundations.

Patient Information and Demographics

Track stats on patients in the system and their assistance status, as well as population demographics by age range, primary diagnosis, and insurance coverage type.

Team Productivity

View application statuses and approvals per employee to monitor team workload and efficiency.

Pharmacy

Pharmacy allows pharmacy teams to manage ordering, tracking, and inventory for free and replacement drugs. When a patient is enrolled in a free or replacement drug program in the Financial Navigation module, they are automatically added in the Pharmacy module.

Proactive Inventory Scheduling

Orders are automatically added based on the patient’s treatment plan, and updated in real time based on their treatment status. Notifications are sent proactively to ensure that drugs are readily available when a patient is scheduled to be administered.

Centralized Management and Tracking

Pharmacy teams can easily see cycle, drug, and program information in a centralized view. Adjust treatment plans and cycles, manage patient and treatment details, and track drug shipments. TailorMed has direct integrations with FedEx, UPS, USPS and DHL to display up-to-date tracking information.

Streamlined User Experience

Choose from a list or calendar view and use the advanced filters to customize views to support individual or team workflows. Notes, Attachments, and Tasks at the individual patient level enables cross-functional teams to effectively manage multiple patients.
