TailorMed is a well-funded startup that has an innovative and first-class product in the world of Health Care. The company was founded to help patients tackle the financial challenges of care delivery. We developed a unique and sophisticated platform that predicts patients out of pocket cost of the treatment, and automatically identifies assistant programs opportunities that help patients afford their care.  

 

We are handling huge amounts of medical data and we are looking for a talented , senior Data Scientist to help us build machine learning algorithms to process the data and create real time insights that will help the patients, the hospitals, pharma companies and other players in the healthcare domain.

Responsibilities

  • As a Data Scientist you should love analyzing, mining and doing crazy things with data, and be great at it! 
  • You will develop new machine learning and statistical algorithms in a Big Data ecosystem. You will work together with the RnD and Product teams to achieve superior results.  
  • You will own the process end-to-end from research, theorization, strategy development to deployment, outcome analysis and refinement
  • Enjoy a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced business and work environment within a small and growing organization

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with statistical and machine learning tools – Python, R, etc. – Must
  • Experience in developing machine learning/image processing/NLP or similar algorithms – Must
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics or any other relevant field – Must
  • Experience with probability theory and statistics
  • Familiarity with SQL
