Sales Director

TailorMed, a fast-growing start-up, was founded with a personal mission to help patients and healthcare Providers tackle the financial challenges of care delivery. TailorMed’s platform automatically identifies alternative funding opportunities that help patients afford their care, and therefore, increase hospitals’ financial performance.


As a Director of Sales you will be responsible for managing a client book of business and proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction/retention while continuously hunting and closing new business. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas and loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market.


The TailorMed Director of Sales are dynamic, high-performing individuals with experience selling technology and/or other services over the phone, by email, and via web-based presentations in a complex environment entailing multiple stakeholders from end users to c-suite buyers. Our Account Executives are expected to be flexible team players with a passion for constant improvement and a growth mindset.


  • Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
  • Communicate with clients and gather information about a project’s scope, budgets and timelines
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Continuously update the company CRM to accurately reflect targets and opportunities
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
  • Present products to prospective clients
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
  • Meet with other executives to discuss clients’ project goals, progress and outcomes
  • Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
  • Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation


  • Proven experience as an Account Executive
  • Experience in enterprise, B2B healthcare sales such as healthcare IT, pharmacy solutions, revenue cycle, EMRs, etc.
  • Experience in selling to health systems and IDNs
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders deals with large enterprises
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to confidently make cold calls to build pipelines
